  • Is there any downtime?
    There is no downtime from the procedure. You will be able to return to your normal activities straight away.
  • Is HIFU Safe?
    The procedure has been proven safe in several clinical studies, and there have been many successful treatments performed around the world.
  • How long until I see results?
    Some clients may see immediate effects; however, the optimal outcome of lifting and toning will take place over the following 2 - 3 months. During this time old collagen is replaced with new collagen that has a higher level of elasticity.
  • Is HIFU painful?
    You may experience slight discomfort while the ultrasound energy is delivered.
  • Does HIFU have any side effects?
    You may experience slight redness, which may last for an hour, and some clients may experience minor swelling, tingling or tenderness. These symptoms are temporary.
  • How will I know which treatment suits me?
    You will have a full face consultation by the Registered Nurse to discuss your unique aesthetic goals. You can express your concerns as well as your expectations, potential treatment options will be discussed afterwards.
  • Am I a good candidate?
    The Registered Nurse will conduct a thorough assessment and medical history prior to injecting. There are certain conditions that treatments are not recommended such as pregnancy or breastfeeding and neurological diseases.
  • What are the risks of dermal fillers?
    Your practitioner will explain in detail, any risks and side effects of all procedures. Your practitioner is fully trained in management of complications.
  • Do you use numbing cream?
    Yes
  • How do Anti-Wrinkle Injections work?
    Anti-Wrinkle Injections contain a potent purified neurotoxin. When the medication is injected into active facial muscle, it relaxes the muscle beneath the skin to smooth out outer skin layer, reducing appearance of lines.
  • How often should I have the treatment?
    Around every 3-6 months for anti-wrinkle injections and 6-9 months for dermal fillers.
  • How do Dermal fillers work?
    Dermal Fillers are made from a Hyaluronic Acid-based gel, which is administered into the dermis of the skin to add volume thus restoring youthful look and brightening your overall appearance.
  • How long does the procedure last?
    It depends on the areas being treated, around 30-60 mins.
  • How long do anti-wrinkle cosmetic injectable results last?
    Anti-wrinkle injectables will last between 3-6 months, depending on the facial area treated and how your body metabolised at the site of injection. Anti-wrinkle injectables start to take effect after 2-3 days after the treatment but generally takes 7-14 for the full effect.
  • What does the after-care require from cosmetic injectables?
    No gym, saunas, steam rooms, hot showers make-up, creams for 24 hours. Avoid alcohol, blood thinner, aspirin or any non-steroidal drug as it could cause excessive bruising and swelling at injection sites. Stay upright for the next 4-6 hrs after treatment. Delay any facials or invasive dermal treatments like microdermabrasion, skin needling or dermal rolling for at least 2 weeks.
  • What type of payment methods do you take?
    I accept cash, debit card, credit card and bank transfer. Cosmetic Aesthetics require deposit of $50 to secure your preferred time and date. The fee is fully redeemable against your service however forfeited if you decide not to go ahead with the service.
  • How do I reschedule my appointment?
    We do require 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, you can reschedule or cancel appointment online or email me.
